Youth Aficionado

Join us on May 26 at 3:00pm for our year-end orchestra concert, featuring both the Junior and Senior Orchestras. The two groups will be jointly conducted by Nick Urquhart and Bryan Deans. The concert will take place at St. Aidian's Presbyterian Church, in the Upstairs Sanctuary. There will be a small reception following the concert.
Admission is $10 for Adults, and $5 for children. The proceeds from this concert will go toward music development and training of youth workers at the Canada Youth Conference.

April Recital

The monthly Kabok Music School recital will be held on Saturday, April 28. The recital begins at 5:00pm. If you wish to perform, please inform your respective instructors and make the necessary preparations.

Today's Orchestra Rehersal Will Be Cancelled

Due to unforseen circumstances, both the Junior and Senior group rehersals will be cancelled. Our regular rehersals schedules will resume next week, on April 21, 2012.

Easter Weekend: Orchestra Rehersal is Cancelled

Just a reminder to all Kabok Chamber Strings members that rehersals will not be held on Saturday, April 7th for both the Junior and Senior Groups, due to the Easter holiday. Rehersals will resume the following week, on Saturday April 14th. The time and location is still the same.

Our very own, Bryan Deans, leads Plastic Acid Orchestra, a full symphony featuring some of Canada's most promising young composers creating an epic contemporary, rock-infused symphonic world. Designed to cut down barriers between musical genres and bring orchestral music to a wide and diverse audience.

If you are in need of a full year receipt for your personal records, or for tax season, please make arrangements with the school office no later than February 2012 so we can prepare them. We will not be able to process receipts after next month.
